We are the only specialty hospital in the region with in-house clinical research laboratories that are funded by the National Institutes of Health, the American Stroke Association and other national and international funding organizations. Drake Center’s current research studies include stroke recovery, aphasia, fall prevention, ventilator weaning and more. Some of our studies have helped participants regain function, sometimes years after a stroke.
